Summary of Position:The welder will fabricate and assemble metal structures and equipment.Applicant must be able to weld vertical up with wire feed.Duties and Responsibilities:Work on various repair and fabrication needsRead and interpret project plans, blueprints and other written instructions and diagrams to perform task at handSafety training as required by positionPaperwork filing and maintenance as neededEssential Education and Qualifications:Welding degreeMinimum of 3 years welding experiencePreferred Skills:Ability to read printsPhysical Demands:Must be able to stand for prolonged periods of timeWSC is a heavy equipment and heavy truck repair shop with a division that specializes in machine shop work and fabrication of various items ranging from specialized truck beds to special application equipment and beyond.
