The Opportunity: Patient Care Associate Surgical Unit- Ellison 7
Why This Role Is Important?The PCA will assist the RNs on Ellison 7 with a variety of functions including assists patients with daily living needs, supervising & reading vital signs, drawing blood, and acquiring EKGs. Responds to patient requests in a timely manner, safeguarding patient confidentiality, supervising patient safety, and always communicating in a respectful manner.ScheduleDay (7am-3pm / 7am-7pm), Evening (3pm-11pm), and Night (7pm-7am, 11pm-7a)Rotational holiday and weekend scheduleWhat do we have to offer?Shift differential for evening, nights, and weekends.Full comprehensive benefits packet, inclusive of travel discounts, MBTA subsidy and health savings.Employee Perks, Weekly pay, and retirement package.

QualificationsRequired: Must have recent experience, and/or training, in clinical patient care.
Preferred: Licensed, certified or enrolled student in a Nursing Assistant, Medical Assistant, Mental Health Technician, or EMT accredited program, at the time of hire, OR
Candidate enrolled in a Nursing, Pre-Med, PA undergraduate program, with at least one semester of patient care rotations completed, at time of hire.
