Brief Descriptions:
We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Senior Financial Analyst to join our Remarketing Department. This individual will play a crucial role in driving data-driven strategies, optimizing our remarketing processes, and ensuring the effective sale of vehicles at auctions. The ideal candidate will have a strong analytical background, excellent leadership skills, and a deep understanding of the automotive remarketing industry. The candidate is expected to be proficient in Excel, VBA, and SQL.
DUTIES, TASKS, RESPONSIBILITIES (include, but not limited to)
Lead and manage the reporting and analytics team within the Remarketing Department.Develop and implement comprehensive reporting frameworks and dashboards to monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) related to vehicle remarketing and auction sales.Analyze large datasets to identify trends, patterns, and opportunities for improving the remarketing process and maximizing auction sales.Provide actionable insights and recommendations to senior management and stakeholders based on data analysis.Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop and optimize remarketing strategies, including pricing, inventory management, and marketing initiatives.Ensure data accuracy and integrity by implementing robust data governance practices.Stay up-to-date with industry trends, market conditions, and competitive landscape to inform decision-making.Present findings and reports to senior leadership in a clear and concise manner.Train and mentor team members to enhance their analytical skills and knowledge.Knowledge, Skills, Licenses
Prior experience working in a finance role is required.
Education
Bachelor’s degree in Business, Data Science, Statistics, Economics, or a related field. Master’s degree is preferred
Qualifications
Proven experience (5+ years) in a reporting and analytics role, preferably within the automotive remarketing industry.Strong proficiency in data analysis tools and software such as SQL and Excel/VBAExcellent analytical and problem-solving skills with a keen attention to attention to detail.Demonstrated ability to lead and manage a team effectivelyStrong communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to present complex data insights to non-technical stakeholders.Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple prioritiesKnowledge of automotive remarketing processes and auction dynamics is highlyWhat’s the expected pay for this role?
$85,000 - $95,000 per year.The exact starting compensation to be offered will be determined at the time of selecting an applicant for hire and will be dependent on a wide range of factors, including but not limited to geographic location, skill set, experience, education, credentials, and licensure when applicable.What do we offer?
