a CNC Machinist for one of our clients in the Sherman, TX area.

Job Description:Operation of a CNC machine in a production shop environment working with steel materials to produce railroad tracks and crossings.
Duties and Responsibilities:Operating CNC machines to machine parts and rail according to specifications as part of the manufacturing process of railroad track and turnout assembliesUse measuring devices to determine accuracy and to mark all rail accordinglyOperate overhead cranesQualifications and Experience:
High School diploma or GEDMinimum 2 years machinist/CNC machine operator experienceAbility to multitask and work with mimum supervisionMust be able to read and write ligibly and complete production reports with accuracyStrong attention to detail with the ability to inspect rail using measuring devicesMust be quality oriented and a team playerMust have complete understanding of safe work practicesQualified applicants will receive consideration for employment without regard to race, color, age, religion, sex, sexual orientation, gender identity, national origin, disability, protected veteran status, or genetic information.
