Who We Are:Gosh Enterprises is a dynamic, rapidly growing company that oversees a family of brands:Charleys: A 847+ unit restaurant brand known worldwide for serving the #1 Cheesesteak in the World.Bibibop Asian Grill: An award winning, 60+ unit Korean-inspired fast casual restaurant conceptLennys Grill and Subs: A Memphis-based 61+ unit chain serving high quality deli subs and hot subsCharleys Kids: A non-profit, partnering with likeminded organizations around the world to provide food, education, and mentorship to at-risk children.58 Partners: The 58 Partners Foundation Church is committed to build a generation of youth who come, listen, follow, know Jesus, and make him knownSolar Planet: A company that provides solar field advisory and installation servicesPosition Objective:The Company is looking for an experienced candidate that can manage the audit and accounting team and assist the Controller and VP of Finance with other tasks.Core Responsibilities :Assist in the budgeting and forecasting processCollect, analyze and report financial information to Senior LeadershipReview current processes and recommend improvementsResponsible for store and cash management auditsOversee AR, AP, Fixed Assets, credit card refunds, Payroll accounting and other tasksOversee General ledger functions such as account analysis, account reconciliation, journal entries, etc.Perform General Ledger account variance analysisGenerate weekly and monthly statements, including Profit and loss, Balance sheet and statement of cash flowsWork with external and internal auditorsOversee payment of monthly sales and property taxesSupervise, train and coach staff accountantsTo perform this job successfully, the following requirements are desired:Education/Experience:
Bachelors degree in accounting. A minimum of 5-7 years of experience is desired. Restaurant accounting is a plusCommunication:
A successful candidate will be able to effectively communicate financial and other information to employees, team members, Store leadership, Senior Leadership and other interested parties.Organization:
The successful candidate will be able to organize, prioritize and track ongoing projects and tasks. The candidate will also be able to effectively launch, monitor and evaluate current accounting operations and deliverables.Language Ability:
Ability to read, analyze, and interpret general business periodicals, professional journals, technical procedures, or governmental regulations. Ability to write reports, business correspondence, and procedure manuals. Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from groups of managers, clients, customers, and the general public.Math Ability:
Ability to apply advanced mathematical concepts such as exponents, logarithms, quadratic equations, and permutations. Ability to apply mathematical operations to such tasks as frequency distribution, determination of test reliability and validity, analysis.Reasoning Ability:
Ability to define problems, collect data, establish facts, and draw valid conclusions. Ability to interpret an extensive variety of technical instructions in mathematical or diagram form and deal with several abstract and concrete variables.Computer Skills:
To perform this job successfully, an individual should have knowledge of Microsoft Word processing software and Microsoft Excel spreadsheet software.Work Environment:
