Phlebotomist Patient Service Representative
looking for a challenging and rewarding role? Join our team as a Phlebotomist III - Float and make a positive impact on patients' lives.As a Phlebotomist III - Float, you'll be responsible for drawing quality blood samples from patients in various settings, including doctor's offices, patient service centers, long-term care facilities, and more. Your expertise and compassionate demeanor will create a welcoming and comfortable environment for patients.Key Responsibilities:
Accurately draw blood samples from patients of all ages, including pediatrics and geriatrics.Prepare specimens for laboratory testing according to established procedures.Provide exceptional customer service and build trust with patients.Demonstrate leadership skills and mentor new team members.Handle multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.Work collaboratively with other healthcare professionals, including sales, laboratory testing services, IT, billing, and logistics.Qualifications:
High school diploma or equivalentMedical training (medical assistant or paramedic) preferredPhlebotomy certification preferred (required in California, Nevada, and Washington)Minimum 5 years of phlebotomy experience, including pediatric, geriatric, and capillary collectionsAt least 3 years of experience in a PSC/IOP environmentStrong customer service skillsProficiency in keyboard/data entry
