This position will be primarily a
work from home opportunity with the requirement to come onsite as needed . You may be based outside of the greater Chicagoland area. This is a
flexible remote
opportunity with the requirement to come onsite to our Burr Ridge, IL location 3 times per week.The
Financial Analyst II
is responsible for providing comprehensive financial analysis, reporting, and decision support to UCM Care Network. This role includes supporting physician compensation analysis, developing and maintaining key performance indicators (KPIs), and providing data-driven insights through advanced data analytics. Financial Analyst II will collaborate closely with operations and finance leadership to drive financial performance, optimize resource utilization, and support the strategic objectives of the medical center.Essential Job FunctionsAnalyze monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements, identifying trends, variances, and key performance indicators (KPIs)Develop, maintain, and enhance financial models to support operational decision-making, budgeting, and forecasting processesAssist in the development and reporting of KPIs to track the financial and operational performance of ambulatory servicesConduct regular analyses of physician productivity, compensation, and performance metrics, providing recommendations for adjustments and improvementsAssist with annual budget process for ambulatory services, working closely with department managers to develop realistic financial targetsCollaborate with operational leaders to analyze and improve the financial performance of various ambulatory clinics, including patient volume, payer mix, and service line profitabilityPartner with senior management on strategic planning initiatives, including market analysis, business case development, and financial impact assessmentsLead special projects and financial analyses as requested by senior leadership, such as benchmarking, productivity studies, and cost-benefit analysesRequired QualificationsBachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, Data Analytics or a related fieldMinimum of 5-7 years experience in financial analysisDemonstrated experience with physician compensation analysis and data analyticsAdvanced proficiency in financial modeling, budgeting, forecasting and data analyticsStrong knowledge of healthcare financeCollaborative team player with a customer service orientationPreferred QualificationsMaster's DegreeCPAExperience within an academic medical center or ambulatory services environmentPosition DetailsJob Type/ FTE: Full-Time; 1.0 FTEShift: DaysUnit/Department: CMG AdministrationWork Location: Flexible Remote- Burr Ridge, ILCBA Code: Non-Union
