K12ED - Thundervision Student Worker (NFWS)
Purpose within the Organization:
The purpose of the Thundervision position is to assist the K12 Educational Development department's Operations team with weekly middle school in-person and virtual college and career readiness GCU-based logistics and presentations as well as any additional tasks related to the department's K-8 events and programs.
Responsibilities Related to Purpose:
Represent GCU and K12ED professionally and positively.Organize and assemble materials and supplies for events and/or programs.Assist in planning and preparation of logistics pertaining to events and/or programs.Assist with virtual and on-campus weekly field trips for 6th-8th grade students.Assist with any other administrative needs that arise as assigned.Equipment Used and Responsibility:

8 hours per week available. Must be available Mondays from 8:45AM-3:00PM for GCU-based field trip experiences. Additional hours to meet time can be flexible.
Strong communication skills, both verbal and written.Willingness to work, learn, and be flexible.Dependable and punctual.Team player: collaboration is critical.Comfortable presenting in front of middle school groups.Experience/Education:

Enrolled at GCU as a full-time student in a Bachelor's program or Master's program.Retain a 2.0 GPA as a Bachelor level student or a 3.0 GPA as a Master level student.Maintain good financial and academic (SAP) standing with the University.You may be subject to termination if you fall below the minimum requirements.
