Job Purpose:
BTIG seeks an investment banking professional to join the TMT team. The Senior Analyst will gain exposure to a wide variety of transactions, including private and public offerings, M&A transactions, and others. The ideal candidate will work on multiple projects simultaneously, with primary responsibilities for the analysis and research related to TMT transaction generation and execution.
Duties & Responsibilities:Provide transaction support to senior TMT bankers on a broad range of transactions including IPOs, secondary offerings, private placements, and mergers & acquisitionsFinancial analysis and modelingManage several concurrent projects and work effectively as part of a team or individuallyPrepare client presentationsPerform due diligenceAssist in preparation of company marketing and transactions materialsInteract with clients during presentations and deal executionsRequirements & Qualifications:
Undergraduate degree in finance or economics with a minimum GPA of 3.5Ideal candidate will have 2+ years of experience at a top-tier investment bank, financial advisory or accounting firmWell-developed analytical and financial modeling expertiseDemonstrated interpersonal skills allowing one to build relationships across a variety of groupsExcellent verbal and written communication skillsAbility to effectively manage multiple simultaneous project deadlinesProficiency in Excel and PowerPointAbility to work well in teamsSolid work ethic and superior attention to detailSIE required, series 63 & 79 licensing requiredBTIG offers competitive compensation and is required by law to include an estimate of the salary range for each role. Salary range is based on a variety of factors including, but not limited to, location, years of applicable experience, skills, qualifications, licensure and certifications, and other business and organization needs.The current base salary range for this role is $120-140k per year. Please note that certain positions are eligible for additional forms of compensation such as discretionary bonus.Important Notes:
