PURPOSE:

This scope of work is for System Software Programmer function and provide Intersystem Cache technical development support for the statewide immunization registry (Florida SHOTS) for the Florida Department

of Health's (Department) Division of Disease Control and Health Protection. Contractor will provide these services to the Florida Department of Health.

CONTRACTOR QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE:

5 years of experience developing and/or testing of systems using Intersystem Cache.

5 years of experience in Object and Relational database design.

5 years of experience using HTML.

5 years of experience with Mumps coding.

5 years of experience with Intersystem Cache, connecting a web server to a Cache Database.

5 years of experience testing web-based applications.

5 years of experience with Object Oriented Programming (OOP) and Object-Oriented Design (OOD).

5 years of experience and expertise in testing and configuring programs that use Soundex Software such as Search Software America.

5 years of experience using the Rational Unified Process in the development environment

CONTRACTOR RESPONSIBILITIES:

SERVICE TASKS:

Contractor will perform the following tasks in the time and manner specified:

Develop test cases supporting the Florida SHOTS systems per standards set by the Department.Research technical solutions to issues affecting the systems' current ability to perform, and solutions to requirements for enhancements to the system as directed by theDepartment. Recommended technical solutions shall be provided in formats that are relevant to the issue being communicated, which may include use of Requisite Pro, Clear Quest, and Clear Case.Assist with pre-testing setup as directed by the Department. As each element of code is ready for release for testing the contractor shall receive code from the developers.Evaluate post-testing results as directed by the Department. Review of testingfindings and report all testing findings to business office. The contractor will receive testingfindings within Requisite Pro and provide responses to test findings with Requisite Pro.After each release or publication of new code, conduct a final evaluation of the published code to assure that the system is operating as developed and tested.The evaluation will compare the operation of the release code to the release notes within Requisite Pro.Standardize collection and storage of Department shared data; profile, laboratory and provide tables as assigned by the Department.In collaborating with Department's Division of Disease Control and Health Protection information technology teams; document design and develop plans using Microsoft Word, Microsoft Visio,Microsoft Project or other software, to accomplish the Master Person Index project as assigned by the Department, Health Information Exchange (HIE).Provide code related to enhancements or corrections to the Florida SHOTS system to testers via documents within Requisite Pro in collaboration with the Business Analyst and Project Manager.All work completed during the reporting period is to be documented on a status report form which is provided by the Department Contract Manager.Daily, meet with Florida SHOTS technical team to discuss issues that are pertinent with current development, testing, releases or possible enhancement as directed by the Department.Develop code supporting the Florida SHOTS system per the schedule provided by DepartmentImmunization Business Office in accordance with the standards and requirements provided in Requisite Pro.DATA SECURITY AND CONFIDENTIALITY TASK:The Contractor, its employees, subcontractors, and agents must comply at all times with allDepartment data security procedures and policies in the performance of this scope of work as specified in the Data Security and Confidentiality document attached to the purchase order.
