Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field is required.5+ years
of accounting experience, with
at least 2 years
of recent experience in property accounting.Strong knowledge of GAAP, real estate accounting, and financial reporting.Proficiency with accounting software (experience with Yardi, MRI, or similar property management software preferred).Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to work effectively in a team environment.Strong analytical, problem-solving, and organizational skills.location: Jacksonville, Floridajob type: Permanentsalary: $75,000 - 100,000 per yearwork hours: 9 to 5education: Bachelor's degreeexperience: 5 Years
responsibilities:
Manage all accounting aspects related to property management, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, and general ledger reconciliations.Prepare and review monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements for assigned properties.Ensure timely and accurate financial reporting in compliance with GAAP and company policies.Oversee property budgets, forecasting, and variance analysis.Coordinate with property managers and other departments to resolve financial discrepancies and provide financial insights.Prepare audit schedules and support external audits as required.Maintain and update records of capital expenditures and depreciation schedules.Assist in process improvement initiatives within the accounting department to streamline operations.qualifications:
