Position Summary and Purpose:

Work with our finance team and Accounting Manager to help in the preparation, analysis and communication of vital financial information and business metrics.

Duties and Responsibilities:

ESSENTIAL:Accounts Payable

Process invoices in a timely and accurate mannerAssist in responding to inquiries within 24-48 hoursAssist with weekly Check, ACH, and Wire payment processAssist with review Goods Received Not Invoiced report

Accounts Receivable

Assist Collections Specialist with reviewing and calling on past due balancesAssist with Credit Memo and Debit Memo review and entryAssist in responding to inquiries within 24-48 hours

General Ledger

Prepare Monthly Journal Entries as assigned and enterPrepare Monthly Reconciliations of assigned GL AccountsAssist in the month end review process - review balance sheet, income statement, and department budgetsAssist with Audit requests as necessary

Education and Experience:REQUIRED:

Pursing Bachelor's Degree in Accounting with a strong GPAKnowledge, Skills, Abilities, Characteristics, etc.REQUIRED:

Strong work ethic, organizational and communication skillsAccuracy in daily work and other projectsAbility to meet communicated schedules and deadlinesTeam player mentalityCapable to operate in a fast-paced environmentExperience in Microsoft Excel and Access
