Job DescriptionSupport full-cycle accounting function in a given month in various areas, such as Accrued Liabilities, Prepaids, Fixed Assets, Software, Payroll related entries, and month-end account reconciliations. Some assistance may be provided periodic preparation of financial statements and financial reporting to MiTek's holding company. Strong Excel skills are preferred and experience with financial software applications (SAP, OneStream, QAD) are a plus. What you will doResponsible for the Corporate business unit month-end and year-end close with supervision from ManagerPreparing monthly journal entries and related support schedulesPreparing month-end balance sheet account reconciliationsPrepare quarterly and annual census filingsPreparing and monitoring the daily cash schedule for consolidated North AmericaProviding data and input into the Corporate annual budgetAssisting with analysis of Corporate and consolidated year-over-year resultsMaintaining and reconciling fixed assets and software schedules in CCHAnalyzing general ledger accounts and resolving discrepanciesWells Fargo Corporate team administratorSpecial projects as neededQualifications
Bachelors Accounting or Finance required1-2 Years of experience in public accounting or manufacturing industry related accounting and financial reporting. preferredEquivalent combination of experience and education which clearly indicates the ability to perform the essential functions of the position may substitute on a year for year basisAble to use Microsoft Office ApplicationsCertified Public Accountant (CPA) - External Agency/Certifier PreferredSoft SkillsCommunication skills, teamwork and collaboration, problem-solving, adaptability and flexibility, time management.
