Senior Accountant
on a permanent placement basis. The
Senior Accountant
is a visible role, reporting to the Director of Accounting, where duties will include a variety of accounting activities related to month-end close, general ledger, account reconciliations, and internal and external audits.
Key Responsibilities:
Lead the month-end and year-end close processesReconcile bank account balances and bank statements including some investment portfolio accountsPrepare and produce journal entries using Black Baud Financial Edge ERPReconcile account receivables, grants receivables, prepaid expenses, and accrued liabilitiesAccurately report financials through timely, well-documented account reconciliations.Fixed Asset activities such as recording, maintaining, and reconciling the organizations' fixed assets using Black Baud Fixed Asset moduleMaintain records in the timekeeping systemCoordinate completion of audit schedulesSupport year-end auditBack up for accounts payable when neededPerform other job-related duties as assigned.Requirements:
Legal eligibility to work in the U.S. without sponsorshipBachelor's Degree in Accounting, Finance, Business or related field, with a minimum of 12 hours in accounting3+ years' experience as an accountant with a minimum budget of $5MM or moreCPA and non-profit experience preferred, but not required.ERP experience such as Black Baud, Sage Abila, Oracle, Lawson, NetSuite or similarLegal eligibility to work in the U.S. without sponsorshipBachelor's Degree in Accounting, Finance, Business or related field, with a minimum of 12 hours in accounting3+ years' experience as an accountant with a minimum budget of $5MM or moreCPA and non-profit experience preferred, but not required.ERP experience such as Black Baud, Sage Abila, Oracle, Lawson, NetSuite or similar
