Salary: $120,000 - $160,000 per year

Responsibilities:

Serve as the go-to expert on financial transactions within the new ERP system.

Lead the development and implementation of top-tier accounting practices in the ERP system.

Act as the subject matter expert in project accounting, ensuring that all financial transactions in the ERP system align with accurate project cost reporting and percentage-of-completion revenue recognition.

Collaborate with various teams to resolve any inconsistencies across different ERP modules (e.g., inventory, COGS, accounts payable) for multi-location operations.

Lead or assist with regular project cost re-forecasting.

Support the financial close process to ensure timely and accurate completion, including:

Preparing month-end journal entries.

Reconciling balance sheet accounts.

Performing variance analyses.

Creating management reports.

Actively contribute to audits, management reporting, investor relations, and tax filings, ensuring timely submission.

Investigate and resolve audit findings, discrepancies, and compliance issues.

Qualifications:

Bachelor's degree in Accounting or active CPA license required.

Strong understanding of US Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP) is essential.

At least 5 years of progressive, relevant accounting experience.

Experience with a Big 4 firm

Proficiency with ERP systems is required. Experience with multiple ERP systems, ERP implementations, and Oracle is a plus.
