September 20th, 2024SummaryThe Staff Accountant will be responsible for Passthrough Programs, and assists in month-end processes, year-end audits, and daily management of joint ventures accounting activities.Key Activities
Manages and compiles Master Distribution Agreement for passthrough vendors.Participates in the month-end closing process.Regularly maintains detailed reconciliations of all balance sheet accounts.Performs general account analyses and reconciliations, bank reconciliations, fixed assets, accruals, and prepaid expenses.Compiles daily Flash Report.Assists in year-end audit processes, including preparation of audit schedules, organization and review of supporting documentation for audit.Assists with external and internal financial reporting, including income statements, balance sheets, statements of cash flow as well as other reports.Assist controller in managing Joint Venture on their daily and monthly accounting activities.Assist FPAM in preparation of annual budgetSupports CFO and Controller with special projects and workflow process improvements.Performs additional duties, as assigned by management.Contributes to team effort by accomplishing related results as needed.Preferred Skills
Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.Strong organizational and analytical skills.Educations & ExperienceBachelors Degree in Accounting or Finance required.4+ years experience in accounting or related field.Proficient in Microsoft Word and Excel.Are you looking for your next opportunity?
