Financial Analysis ,

Budget/Variance Analysis , and

Financial Forecasting

duties. This is a key position that will collaborate with senior management and accounting/financial operations to distill and present complex financial data in an easy-to-understand fashion. Ideal candidates should have

3+ years of Financial Analysis experience , with experience at a

major Law Firm , or an internal position for an established Professional Services firm. This will be an amazing opportunity for an experienced candidate to grow from the ground up within the legal industry with an expanding firm.Category:

Full-time, exempt position.Location:

Washington, DC. Hybrid (2-days per week on-site).Compensation:

$100K $110K based on experience.Benefits:

Health, Dental, Vision, 401(k) with Match, PTO, Vacation, Parking/Transit, Daycare, HSA, and others.Responsibilities:Coordinate the preparation, development, and maintenance of the annual budget and periodic forecasts.Identify and research variances to forecast, budget, and prior-year expenses (monthly, quarterly, and annually).Articulate explanations to budget variances, and proactively identify action items and opportunities for improvement.Prepare cash flow projections on a monthly, quarterly, and annual basis. Assist with year-end cash flow planning.Prepare ad-hoc and periodic statistical and metrics reports and develop expert knowledge of the firms business intelligence solution to extract financial data upon request.Assist with the administration of Financial and Reporting Software Systems.Develop and maintain financial models as requested.Prepare and/or review adjusting journal entries and work with accounting staff, and budget holders, on resolving GL coding issues.Develop and prepare worksheets to evaluate billing rate increases.Maintain Financial Dashboard and make updates when required, interface with subject matter consultants.Participate in the development and implementation of relevant accounting software and internal reporting enhancements.Requirements:Bachelors

degree in

Accounting/Finance

or related fields required.3+ years of Financial Analysis experience

is required.1+ years of experience at a major Law Firm

(or an internal position at an established Professional Services firm) is required.Strong experience with

MS Excel

AND

Tableau

is required.Must have
