We are recruiting on behalf of a prestigious law firm seeking an Associate Attorney to join its Finance & Transactions team in Chicago, Dallas, or Washington, DC. The successful candidate will have 4-7 years of commercial finance experience and will work on drafting and managing loan documents, participating in complex financial transactions, and collaborating with senior attorneys on client matters. This position offers a dynamic work environment with significant opportunities for professional development, business development, and client interaction.Duties:
Draft loan documents and manage loan transactions for clients.Handle multiple commercial finance matters simultaneously.Work closely with shareholders and senior attorneys on complex finance transactions.Provide legal counsel to clients on various financial transactions and agreements.Participate in business development activities and client-facing engagements.Ensure compliance with applicable laws and regulations related to finance and transactions.Requirements:
4-7 years of experience in commercial finance at a law firm.Strong experience in drafting loan documents and managing financial transactions.Ability to manage multiple legal matters concurrently.Admission to the Bar in good standing in Illinois, Texas, or Washington, DC (or in the process of obtaining admission).Education:
Juris Doctor (J.D.) degree from an accredited law school.Strong academic credentials.Certifications:
Active Bar license in the applicable jurisdiction (Illinois, Texas, or District of Columbia).Skills:
