The Senior Art Director drives the creative vision and execution for The Bouqs Company across the business (Ecommerce, Subscriptions and Retail). We’re looking for an individual who is passionate about growing an amazing brand and ready to make their mark on our growing business. As a Sr. Art Director, you will need strong cross functional collaboration and be responsible for the brand look/feel, campaign concepting, design, and photography/video.

You will report into the SVP, Ecommerce & Subscriptions.

Responsibilities:

Responsible for the overall look and feel of marketing, media, and branding, owning the vision for the brand across touchpoints to tell a captivating and consistent story about The Bouqs Co.

Collaborate with designers and cross functional team (Integrated Marketing, Social/ Content, Merch, Performance Marketing, Product, etc.) to translate seasonal briefs into original campaigns, compelling marketing stories, and engaging content – leveraging insights and cultural trends to concept and execute

Own and maintain the department budget and project prioritization, including creative resource planning and production

Lead photoshoot concepting and direction with close partnership with the team to execute

Learn our business objectives/marketing challenges and come up with creative solutions to address awareness, consideration, and purchase

Work closely with cross functional partners to understand creative performance to optimize and iterate on creative assets to drive business results

Provide POV on how to balance efficiency and unlocking output in the creative process, including Go-To-Market improvements, maximizing shoots for lifestyle/PDP/content capture, etc.

Inspire, develop, and mentor team members through effective and timely feedback, project development, performance management and career development

Keep up with trends within the industry, with an emphasis on out-of-the-box, and creative thinking

Qualifications:

7+ years of Creative experience, with at least 3 years of experience in people management

Bachelor’s degree

Ability to lead and coach a creative team (producer, designers, freelancers), championing and inspiring creative collaboration and innovation with cross functional partners

In-depth experience across all mediums including digital design (static/ video) and print across marketing touchpoints (site, email, display banners, video, in store signage, packaging, direct mail, partnerships, etc.)

Strong relationship management skills and creative problem solver in a fast-moving cross-functional and entrepreneurial environment

Capable of providing creative direction for photo/video shoots, web/digital, and packaging design

Experience with Adobe Suite: Photoshop, InDesign, Illustrator, Acrobat, and Microsoft Suite

Self-driven and able to easily communicate creative ideas and collaborate in a team environment

Solid communication and leadership skills with a good eye for detail on seeing the big picture

Highly organized with project management skills, able to juggle multiple (and sometimes conflicting) priorities and needs

Proactive in nature and driven to act with a sense of urgency; able to work well under pressure and with demanding deadlines

Knowledge of current social media landscape and trends

Strong collaboration and influence skills; able to build effective relationships with stakeholders across organizational levels

Ability to travel locally for team meetings and photoshoots, as needed

Must provide a portfolio of work with both brand storytelling and performance-driven designs to be considered for the open position.

Compensation & Perks:

Competitive Base Salary Range of $120,000.00 - $140,000.00 + Equity Package
