As the need for services continues to increase and becomes more complex, Catholic Charities adapts and responds to help those who are suffering in our community.POSITION PROFILE - CHIEF EXECUTIVE OFFICERThe Chief Executive Officer is responsible for promoting and furthering the mission of the agency. The Chief Executive Officer is responsible to the Board of Directors and works with the Board and officers to implement strategy, ensure fiscal responsibility and promote collaboration in the community. The Chief Executive Officer provides leadership to staff in planning and ensuring quality programming for all the constituents of the agency.ESSENTIAL RESPONSIBILITIESProvide vision to the agency by holding up the Mission of Catholic Charities to the Board of Directors, staff, supporters and the community.Work with the Board of Directors to drive organizational success, present strategic options and plan for organizational impact, and empower high-performing staff leaders in order to set the direction of the agency - including fundraising to support it.Drive key results in fundraising efforts. Help to identify, cultivate and solicit prospective donors and key leaders of prospective new corporate partners, as well as leverage personal and professional contacts and relationships into fundraising opportunities.Attend and participate in all Board of Directors meetings, Board committee meetings, and serve as liaison to the Board Governance Committee.Provide leadership to the agency by inspiring innovation and ensuring the organization is continually well-equipped to advance the mission of the agency.Build and lead a high-performing Executive Team, ensuring alignment and collaboration to achieve organizational results.Collaborate with various partners, organizations, and coalitions that impact and further the mission of the agency.Act as an advocate for diversity, inclusion and belonging, and effectively communicate with a wide variety of stakeholders.DESIRED QUALIFICATIONSMinimum of five years’ experience in a senior management position.Strong interpersonal skills and willingness to take leadership on complex matters.Ability to work with diverse and/or low-income populations, including those who may be experiencing homelessness, unstable housing, and/or mental illness required.COMPENSATION AND BENEFITSThe salary range for this position is $280,000-$380,000.
