Job Summary and QualificationsThe Director Pharmacy Benefit Management Strategic Sourcing is responsible for managing all aspects of the contract for the HealthTrust PBM Program which has $5.8B in annual spend. The position is responsible for managing the master services agreement with the PBM supplier partner and ensuring that all contractual obligations are met for both HealthTrust and each individual client, global communications, reporting and analytics for contract financial performance, and other program management, as needed. In addition, the position is responsible for managing the Human Resources Advisory Board including meeting coordination, maintaining official Board records, and ongoing Board member communication.

The ability to travel up to 15%, including overnight travel, is required for the role.

What you will do in this role includes:

Manage the master services agreement with the PBM supplier partner.

Negotiate terms and conditions of the master services agreement.

Draft and review pharmacy benefit management contractual language.

Ensure all contractual obligations are met for both HealthTrust and each client.

Ensure the PBM supplier partner delivers on all services in accordance with the contract and provides superior account management service.

Analyze and interpret various data sources and reports to ensure compliance with financial and contractual obligations of the PBM supplier partner.

Support the financial operations of the PBM Program.

Manage the Human Resources Advisory Board including meeting coordination, maintaining official Board records, and ongoing Board member communication.

Develop and grow relationships with Board members.

Manage client information including internal rostering, key client data, etc.

Assist in the development of the PBM Program strategy.

Provide other PBM Program management support, as needed.

Establish strong relationships with internal and external team members.

Keep the organization’s vision and values at the forefront of decision-making and action.

What qualifications you will need:

Bachelor’s degree in business or management-related field required.

PharmD or other advanced degree a plus.

Minimum 7+ years of experience with a pharmacy benefit manager and/or a large employee benefit consulting firm with a focus on pharmacy benefit and/or a senior benefit professional at a large company.

Minimum 5+ years of experience with employee benefit contracts.

Project management experience.

Proficiency in Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.

Consulting experience a plus.

Registered pharmacist a plus.

Advanced knowledge of employee pharmacy benefits, PBM industry, and PBM supplier operations.

Advanced knowledge of contract negotiation strategy and legal terms and conditions.
