Position: Physical Therapist - Ortho/Oncology
Location: Baltimore, MD (Green Tree Road)
Schedule:
Full time, includes some evenings until 8 pm and a rotating Saturday
Incentives: Up to $20k sign on bonus and/or indefinite student debt program
NovaCare in Pikesville (Green Tree Road) is seeking a full time physical therapist passionate about serving people affected by cancer to join our team as part of our growing ReVital Cancer Rehabilitation program.Our large clinical team treats a diverse population of teens through geriatrics and offers a broad spectrum of specialty services including, but not limited to; general orthopedics, sports medicine, gait and balance, chronic pain, and industrial rehabilitative services. We are a fast-paced ortho center in need of a flexible and dynamic clinician ready to jump in to serve our community, especially our motivated geriatric patients.Interest in cancer rehab required, experience preferred. Interest/experience in lymphedema is a plus! Caseload will be a mix of ortho and oncology. New grads welcome to apply, as training and mentorship are available.Seize the opportunity to join our highly trained and respected ReVital Cancer Rehabilitation Program team, which provides rehabilitative services to help improve the quality of life for people affected by cancer. Responsibilities
Maintain open and respectful communication with all parties
Understand and adhere to state practice acts and laws governing PTs
Complete and maintain required trainings
Maintain compliance with government regulations
Evaluate, treat and direct treatment for patients
Qualifications
Minimum Requirements:
Successful completion of those educational requirements as mandated for state licensure or eligibility for a license in Physical Therapy
Current State licensure or eligibility for licensure in the State of practice
CPR certified
Preferred Qualifications:
Cancer rehabilitation interest/experience
Lymphedema interest/experience
