Salary: $125,000 - $175,000 per year

Job Details

We are seeking a highly motivated, detail-oriented Associate Attorney to join our dynamic legal team. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing a diverse caseload involving commercial litigation, drafting legal documents, civil and criminal law matters, real estate transactions, and oil and gas laws. This role requires a minimum of five years of experience in a similar position and a proven track record of successfully navigating complex legal matters.

Responsibilities:

  1. Provide legal advice and guidance on a wide range of issues related to commercial litigation, civil and criminal law, real estate, oil, and gas.
  2. Draft, review, and negotiate a variety of legal documents including contracts, agreements, and pleadings.
  3. Represent clients in court proceedings, hearings, and trials.
  4. Conduct thorough legal research and analysis to advise clients on their legal rights and obligations.
  5. Manage all aspects of litigation processes from investigation, pleadings, and discovery to pre-trial, trial, settlement, and appeal.
  6. Develop effective litigation strategies and argue cases before judges and juries.

Qualifications:

  1. Juris Doctor degree from an accredited law school.
  2. A minimum of two years of experience as an Associate Attorney or similar role.
  3. Proven experience in commercial litigation, drafting legal documents, civil and criminal law, real estate transactions, and oil and gas laws.
  4. Licensed to practice law in the state.
  5. Excellent negotiation, problem-solving, and communication skills.
  6. Strong research and report-writing skills.
  7. Ability to manage multiple tasks and work under pressure to meet deadlines.
  8. Proficient in legal research software and Microsoft Office Suite.
