Job Details:
We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Senior Project Manager to join our construction team. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing and executing a range of construction projects from inception to completion. This role is perfect for someone who thrives in a fast-paced environment and is passionate about leading teams, managing clients, and delivering high-quality construction projects. The Senior Project Manager will play a pivotal role in our organization, ensuring the successful execution of projects, maintaining client relationships, and contributing to the overall growth and success of our company.
Responsibilities:
- Oversee all aspects of construction project management, including planning, coordination, and execution of projects, ensuring that our clients' requirements are met.
- Develop comprehensive project plans, manage changes in project scope, schedule, and costs.
- Coordinate with architects, engineers, and other construction and building specialists.
- Ensure adherence to all health and safety standards, maintaining a safe and risk-free workplace.
- Manage relationships with clients, stakeholders, and suppliers, ensuring clear communication and timely resolution of issues.
- Conduct site checks to monitor progress and quality standards, implementing improvements where necessary.
- Prepare and present reports detailing the progress of each project to both internal teams and clients.
- Implement quality control programs, ensuring that the end product not only aligns with the customer's expectations but also meets our high-quality standards.
- Develop and maintain an understanding of the marketplace, competitor activity, and market trends.
- Contribute to the overall operations and strategic planning of the construction department, driving continuous improvement and growth.
Qualifications:
- Project experience in the commercial sector is highly desired.
- Minimum of 10+ years of experience in project management in the construction industry, with a proven track record of successful project delivery.
- Proficient in project management software, such as MS Project, Primavera, or equivalent.
- Strong knowledge of construction processes, means and methods, understanding of construction laws and regulations.
- Exceptional leadership skills, with the ability to manage and motivate a team.
