We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Senior Project Manager to join our thriving construction team. This is a permanent position and offers an excellent opportunity to contribute to our portfolio of high-profile projects. The successful candidate will have a proven track record in managing smaller-scale construction projects from conception to completion. The Senior Project Manager will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of the project, including planning, budgeting, scheduling, and execution. This role requires excellent leadership skills, a keen eye for detail, and a strong understanding of the construction industry.

Responsibilities:

  • Lead and manage the planning, design, and execution of construction projects, ensuring they are completed on time and within budget.
  • Develop and maintain comprehensive project plans, outlining milestones, deliverables, and resource requirements.
  • Coordinate and supervise the work of the project team, including contractors, architects, engineers, and other professionals.
  • Implement effective contract management strategies, ensuring all contractual obligations are met, and risks are minimized.
  • Oversee the procurement of materials and equipment, ensuring quality standards are met, and costs are controlled.
  • Foster strong relationships with key stakeholders, including clients, suppliers, and government agencies.
  • Conduct regular project reviews and create detailed reports for senior management.
  • Implement and uphold health and safety regulations, ensuring a safe work environment at all times.
  • Resolve any project-related issues or disputes in a timely and effective manner.
  • Continually identify opportunities for process improvement, striving for operational excellence.

Qualifications:

  • Minimum of 10 years of experience in project management within the construction industry.
  • Proven track record of managing smaller-scale construction projects from conception to completion (1M-10M)
  • Strong knowledge of construction processes, materials, and legal regulations.
  • Proficient in project management software and MS Office Suite.
  • Exceptional leadership and team management skills.
  • Excellent problem-solving abilities and a keen eye for detail.
  • Strong negotiation skills and experience in contract management.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and meet tight deadlines.
