Procurement Business LeaderThis position will support the Global Procurement Organization (GPO) that:Leads VMS and MSP programs, gathers, drives and reports on analytics, and is responsible for working closely with the procurement team and lines of business leaders, as well as external procurement resources to support developing, implementing, and managing various programs. The ability to drive leading business practices and safeguard the initiation and processing of identified business topics and priorities beneficial for GPO, its internal customers, and external partners.This position requires a broad knowledge of Managed Services Provider programs and VMS systems, as well as procurement and business operations. In this role, the Procurement Business Leader will partner cross-functionally with multiple groups, including Finance Business Partners, Business Leaders, and Suppliers.Procurement Business Leader ResponsibilitiesManage a Managed Service Provider (MSP) program for implementing value-added results, managing staff, and coordinating tasks.Collaborate effectively with Managed Service Provider to analyze ongoing operations and aid in the implementation of recruitment strategies and serve as escalation point of contact.Drive continuous improvement of all cross-category related interests.Lead broad expansions across various programs by executing value-added strategic oversight while coordinating with diverse business networks.Able to anticipate, understand and critically evaluate program requirements, understand constraints, and influence requirements accordingly, and evaluate programs for potential risks/issues.Manage optimal communication and collaboration with all Procurement categories and all relevant parties of GPO’s entire ecosystem internally and externally to support GPO’s objectives.Communicate clear requirements to the organization both in writing and verbally, and prepare and deliver clear presentations.Self-starter, able to motivate/lead others to achieve business requirements including people in different departments, with a sense of urgency to achieve customer and business requirements.Understand and develop program plans and charts and perform critical path analysis/management.Facilitate cross-functional teams/meetings to resolve any issues and manage risks to deliver a successful outcome.Develop and maintain effective working relationships cross-functionally with internal and external stakeholders at all levels of the organization up to VP, including management of conflicting priorities and opinions.Credibly represent the Company at supplier CEO level and accurately understand the supplier's business and suitability.Develop and track key performance indicators to showcase and further improve business relationships. KPIs include Savings, reporting, analytics, and dashboard maintenance.Responsible for all data analytics associated with above-mentioned items.Drive and manage all compliance topics including analyzing and resolving issues raised in procurement audit reports (SOC and SOX).Ensure Workday and other integrated systems are deployed effectively and provide in-depth knowledge on enhancements to the team.See the big business picture and advise how the Procurement team can best support the broader business strategy and objectives.Document and maintain all Procurement related processes and procedures.Work with Procurement organizations (Procurement Leaders, CASME, Gartner) to identify leading practices, process improvements, market analysis, and improved ways of working to support the team and business units.Track and influence compliance to procurement policy and P2P processes in an effective way that builds commitment from the business community. Track compliance in Dashboard.Enhancements and updates to Procurement SharePoint or other Procurement tools.Utilize effective communication skills (both verbal and written) to support the creation of high-quality deliverables (e.g., PowerPoint, requirements documentation, process designs, training documents, SharePoint care and feed, and internal and external communications).Procurement Business Leader QualificationsB.S. in Finance, Accounting or Business and/or equivalent combination of education and/or experience.Fifteen (15) plus years of overall professional experience.Excellent written and oral communication skills tailored to the appropriate audience level.Advanced understanding of Microsoft Office Suite – PowerPoint and Excel.Ability to be self-sufficient and self-motivated.Ability to operate as an effective tactical as well as strategic thinker.Ability to listen and understand information and communicate the same.Strong interpersonal, organizational, presentation, and facilitation skills.Result oriented and customer focused.Strong mentoring and coaching experience with a team of diverse levels of expertise.Change Management and Project Management experience is a plus.Compensation: $60-$80/hr.
