Consulting Managers

who can deliver within Cognizant's Five Pillars of Consulting Excellence: 1) Project Execution, 2) Expertise, 3) Business Development, 4) Practice Development, & 5) People Development. This means overseeing advisory consulting engagements, being a trusted advisor to clients, establishing oneself as a thought leader in your field, solving complex problems, and guiding multiple teams as they work to transform a client.ResponsibilitiesServe as the Engagement Lead and manage teams of Consultants, Senior Consultants, and Managers for one or more commercial projects to ensure effective negotiations, solution delivery, governance, profitability, and overall client satisfaction.Support business development activities, price consulting components of engagements, coordinate resources, and provide guidance to team members.Lead client workshops and support business analysis interviews.Monitor and supervise the daily activities of project staff.Enrich client partnerships and anticipate client needs based on industry requirements and technological breakthroughs.Serve as a people leader, supporting recruitment, onboarding, upskilling, and mentorship of colleagues.Guide development, provide feedback, and conduct performance reviews.Support the establishment of thought leadership in the industry.Recruits, hires, and manages consulting talent.QualificationsStrong Product Owner skills including backlog grooming, prioritization, feature/user story creation, and sprint planning.Experience managing technology projects or multiple technical workstreams.Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills.Minimum of eight years related work experience as a product owner.Undergraduate degree in a related field (Computer Science, Engineering) required.Airline domain knowledge is a must.Good understanding of data platforms and queries.Work AuthorizationCognizant will only consider applicants for this position who are legally authorized to work in the United States without company sponsorship.
