Job Details

We are looking for a Manager/Senior Manager of Supply Chain Logistics to join our company on a contract-to-hire basis.

You will oversee and manage the movement of goods through our global commercial and clinical supply chain.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Plan, implement, and control the flow of product, samples and other material, as well as the associated information flows and documentation.
  • Plan, coordinate, and monitor all Supply Chain activities for domestic and international shipments, including development and review of shipping documents.
  • Manage the transportation of product, samples and other material
  • Manage and review all shipments including review / approval / retention of shipping documentation
  • Manage supply chain transportation partners
  • Create, Maintain & Update shipment schedule
  • Fulfill shipment schedule: Ensure that shipments are fulfilled efficiently and with minimal exceptions / deviations / delays
  • Manage the storage of goods, including storage contracts, inventory organization and streamlining
  • Other responsibilities as needed
  • Travel to CMOs / Suppliers 10%

Qualifications:

  • BS in Supply Chain, Finance or equivalent
  • At least 8 years’ experience in supply chain logistics or related
  • Biotech/Pharma industry experience is required
  • Experience with domestic and international shipping requirements, including import / export customs requirements, FDA requirements, Harmonized Tariff codes, packing lists, BOLs, End Use letters, etc.
  • Experience working in a GXP regulatory environment
  • Experience and knowledge of Good Distribution Practices (GDP)
  • Experience and knowledge of using Qualified shipping containers, Temperature Control & Chain of Custody for GxP shipments
  • Proficient operation of spreadsheets, databases, and other Office programs
  • Excellent communication skills, highly proficient in spoken and written English and ability to work independently in a team environment
  • APICS Certification or equivalent is desired
