A fast paced plaintiff personal injury firm located in the Galleria area of Houston is seeking a Personal Injury Paralegal to join their firm. This firm offers full benefits and paid parking. Candidates must have 5+ years of recent experience working on catastrophic injury cases.

Duties include:Accurately Draft Petitions, Answers, Discovery, Motions, Demands, and other legal documents, as neededCoordinate with Attorney and work independently toward case developmentSchedule and calendar all meetings, hearings, depositions, and mediationsE-File appropriate documents with the court and E-Serve all necessary partiesCoordinate with vendors to meet all case deadlinesContinually communicate with clients, courts, opposing counsel, experts, and mediatorsAudit cases for all expenses (medical bills, case expenses, LOP providers, subro liens)Accurately maintain case management data in Needles Neos SoftwarePrepare trial documents and assist Attorney with trial preparationAssist Attorney with developing cases for trialSupervise staff for naming/filing all litigation documents and maintaining file completeness and accuracyEnsure reliable and consistent updates are given to attorney on each fileGive your attorney reminders for tasks and deadlines coming upHandle the phone to help with calls coming in
