TravelUnit: L&D, Well-Baby Nursery, Postpartum combined to form one unit# beds: 10 bedsCerts: BLS, NRP, advanced fetal monitoring, NCC certified inpatient OB (RNC-OB)*will except a C-EFM in place of ADV FHMRatios: L&D is usually 1 to 1-2, follow AWHONN guidelines, postpartum is 1 to 4 couplet careEMR: Cerner, Fetal heart monitor is fetal linkCharge Nurse: yes, they will take a pt assignmentNurse Aides: noWeekend Requirement: every otherHolidays: work into perm staff rotationScrub Color: navyTele: phillipsVents: noHospitalist or Intensivist in house: no neonatologist, hospitalist has to be available 24/7, 4 OB/GYNs and 2 midwivesIV Team: noRT 24/7: yesPharmacy 24/7: no, only in house for 10 hours of the dayShifts: 12 hrs, 7-7, self scheduling to some degree, manager has to balance out and make sure shifts are covered, schedules are made out 30-45 days in advance, they can take call if they wantFloating: float to medsurg or CCU rarely & only if desired. Will have to work both L&D & PP on unitFloor specific orientation: 2-3 daysCommon diagnosis / Types of patients: on PP side they may occasionally get a post-op gyn surgery, also will see high risk deliveries, 35 weeks and above, drug babies that go through withdrawal protocol, twin deliveriesreferral bonus $500.00 and quarterly bonusesUnited Staffing Solutions Job ID #761519.
