The Position:

The Director of Human Resources will plan, lead, direct, develop, and coordinate the policies and activities of the Human Resource function to ensure the implementation of DC's mission and promote and enhance employee relations.

Responsibilities:Collaborate with senior leadership to understand organizational goals related to staffing needsResponsible for the posting, recruiting, interviewing for all staffing needsResponsible for all employee contracts and salary negotiationsOversee the onboarding process for all staff and assist in the onboarding of facultyEnsure the compliance of all HR laws and regulationsEnsure the collection of all clearances for employees and volunteersManage the administration of the HRIS systemAssist in the coaching, implementation, and execution of Performance Improvement plansManage employee concerns, issues, and conflictsOversee the maintenance of all employee filesEnsure the compilation and accuracy of all job descriptionsManage the maintenance and updates to the Employee HandbookEnsure the proper compensation of employees by doing periodic market research and setting salaries and hourly ratesAssist in the proper evaluation and banding of faculty and staffProvide leadership development and culture training and resources as neededProvide human resources counsel and direction to managers and Division heads as neededManage all employee verificationsPerform all exit interviews and provide a yearly summaryQualifications:

Bachelor's degree required, Master's preferredFive years or more of experience in Human ResourcesExperience in non-profits or educational institutions preferredFull alignment with our Statement of FaithSalary & Benefits:
