Job Details:

We are currently seeking a highly motivated, experienced Permanent Controller for our manufacturing operations. This role is integral to our financial infrastructure, with responsibilities spanning across financial management, budgeting, financial analysis, forecasting, and internal controls. The successful candidate will have a strong understanding of financial reporting, inventory management, and will be well-versed in SAP. This is an exceptional opportunity for a seasoned financial professional to make a significant impact on the future of our company.

Responsibilities:

  1. Oversee all accounting operations including Billing, A/R, A/P, GL, Cost Accounting, Inventory Accounting, and Revenue Recognition.
  2. Approve reconciliations and journal entries, ensuring accuracy and compliance with applicable standards.
  3. Coordinate and direct the preparation of the budget, financial forecasts, and report variances.
  4. Prepare and publish timely monthly financial statements and ensure quality control over financial transactions and financial reporting.
  5. Manage and comply with local, state, and federal government reporting requirements and tax filings.
  6. Develop and document business processes and accounting policies to maintain and strengthen internal controls.
  7. Oversee the accounting team, providing leadership, guidance, and support to ensure the team's success.
  8. Conduct financial analysis to identify efficiencies, propose improvements, and support strategic decision-making.
  9. Implement and maintain the SAP system, ensuring its optimal use for financial management and reporting.

Qualifications:

  1. Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field. CPA or MBA preferred.
  2. Minimum of 5 years of experience in a similar role, preferably in the manufacturing industry.
  3. Proven knowledge and experience in financial management, budgeting, financial analysis, forecasting, and internal controls.
  4. Proficiency in SAP and other financial management software.
  5. Strong understanding of Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP).
  6. Experience with creating financial statements and financial reporting.
  7. Excellent leadership skills with experience in managing a team.
  8. Exceptional analytical skills with the ability to create financial forecasts and models.
  9. Detail-oriented with excellent organizational skills.
  10. Ability to communicate effectively with all levels of the organization, both verbally and in writing.
  11. Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
