Job Details

We are seeking an experienced Compliance Paralegal to join our dynamic legal team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in board reporting, corporate governance, and overall compliance matters. This role requires a detail-oriented individual who can effectively manage complex compliance issues and provide critical support to our legal and executive teams.

Key Responsibilities:

1.Assist in developing, implementing, and maintaining corporate compliance programs

2.Prepare and distribute board meeting materials, including agendas, presentations, and reports

3.Support corporate governance initiatives and ensure adherence to company policies and procedures

4.Monitor and report on regulatory changes affecting the company's operations

5.Conduct research on compliance-related issues and prepare summary reports

6.Assist in drafting and reviewing corporate policies and procedures

7.Coordinate and support internal compliance audits and investigations

8.Maintain accurate and up-to-date compliance documentation and records

9.Liaise with various departments to ensure company-wide compliance

10.Assist in preparing regulatory filings and reports

11.Support the development and delivery of compliance training programs

12.Assist in managing the company's whistleblower hotline and related investigations

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree required
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience as a paralegal, with a focus on compliance, corporate governance, and board reporting
  • Strong knowledge of relevant laws, regulations, and industry standards
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Exceptional organizational and time management skills
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and legal research databases
  • Ability to handle confidential information with discretion
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Attention to detail and ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Paralegal certification
  • Experience in a publicly traded company
  • Familiarity with compliance management software
