Salary: $90,000 - $130,000 per year

A bit about us:

We are seeking an experienced Controller to lead and strengthen our Accounting Department. In this role, you will play a pivotal part in shaping and executing our financial strategies, ensuring compliance with regulations, and overseeing all accounting functions. As our Controller, you’ll manage financial reporting, monitor company performance, and develop key financial controls to drive profitability and minimize risk.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop, implement, and maintain accounting policies and procedures.
  • Oversee timely completion of payments, including accounts payable, receivables, and bank deposits.
  • Review, manage, and forecast quarterly and annual budgets for all departments.
  • Conduct detailed cost and profit analysis, offering insights for growth opportunities.
  • Set, monitor, and track financial KPIs to guide business performance.
  • Build and maintain risk assessment models to evaluate financial decisions and investments.
  • Generate regular financial reports and provide ad-hoc analysis to support decision-making.
  • Perform internal audits and collaborate with external auditors to ensure compliance and accuracy.
  • Maintain a highly organized and up-to-date filing system for financial documents.
  • Ensure compliance with accounting standards (GAAP) and tax regulations.
Job Details

Qualifications:

  • Proven work experience as a Controller or in a similar high-level accounting role.
  • Deep understanding of accounting principles, procedures, and relevant legislation (GAAP).
  • Expertise in managing general ledger, accounts payable, and accounts receivable functions.
  • Strong background in cash management, financial forecasting, and risk assessment.
  • Proficient with accounting software and financial management tools.
  • High attention to detail and a results-driven approach.
  • Ability to manage tight deadlines and maintain accuracy in a fast-paced environment.
  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
  • CPA or CMA certification strongly preferred.
