Job Details:

We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Aerospace Manufacturing Controller to join our dynamic team. This role offers an exciting opportunity to be part of a leading company's finance and accounting functions, where you will play a critical role in the financial management and strategic planning of our aerospace manufacturing operations. The successful candidate will have a strong background in corporate finance and accounting, with a deep understanding of the aerospace manufacturing industry and government agencies.

Responsibilities:

As an Aerospace Manufacturing Controller, your responsibilities will include:

1. Overseeing the financial operations of our aerospace manufacturing unit, including budgeting, forecasting, and financial reporting.
2. Developing and implementing strategic financial plans to support the growth and profitability of our aerospace manufacturing operations.
3. Conducting financial audits to ensure compliance with internal controls and government regulations.
4. Managing financial risks and implementing risk management strategies to protect the financial health of our aerospace manufacturing operations.
5. Developing financial models to support decision-making and strategic planning.
6. Collaborating with other departments to drive continuous improvement in our financial operations and manufacturing processes.
7. Leveraging your expertise in ERP systems, specifically JD Edwards and SAP, to optimize our financial management processes.
8. Liaising with government agencies to ensure compliance with regulations and secure funding for our aerospace manufacturing operations.

Qualifications:

The ideal candidate for the Aerospace Manufacturing Controller role will have:

1. A bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field. An MBA or other advanced degree is preferred.
2. At least 5 years of experience in a financial management role in the aerospace manufacturing industry.
3. Strong expertise in budgeting, forecasting, financial reporting, and strategic planning.
4. Proven experience in financial auditing and risk management.
5. Proficiency in financial modeling and accounting.
6. Extensive knowledge of the aerospace manufacturing industry and government agencies.
7. Strong experience in corporate finance and internal controls.
8. A track record of driving continuous improvement in financial operations and manufacturing processes.
9. Experience with ERP systems, specifically JD Edwards and SAP.
10. Excellent communication, leadership, and strategic thinking skills.
