About the role

This warehouse position is responsible for processing materials to support production by performing the duties involved in receiving, stocking, issuing, and/or shipping materials/supplies. Operates material handling equipment in a safe and efficient manner. This position works under direct supervision.

1st shift: Material Handling, 7:00am-3:30pm or 8:00am to 4:30pm Mon-Fri (5-8's)

2nd Shift: 2:30pm to 1am Mon-Thur

Responsibilities

Supports production by pulling and delivering all materials necessary to complete shop ordersSupports receiving by verifying conformance to invoices and stocking all received components on the appropriate shelf locationVerifies and maintains product identification and countPrepares inventory records and investigates discrepancies in stock countsPerforms weigh counts for materials and stores them as necessaryObtains, moves, sorts and packages products and materialsQualifications

Understanding of basic math skills - adding, subtracting and measuringBasic computer skills and working knowledge of Microsoft Office applicationsAbility to communicate effectively both verbally and in written formatAbility to multi-taskAbility to follow written and verbal instructionsAbility to use judgement related to identifying potential safety hazardsPhysical Demands

This position requires 20% clerical and planning and 80% material handling, production assembly machine operations, and/or walking and assisting production employeesWork is primarily performed on the manufacturing floor where noise levels may be moderate or high and hearing protection may have to be wornEye and foot protection may have to be wornLifting of weights up to 30 pounds may occur regularly, with a potential for lifting weights of up to 45 pounds on an occasional basisThere is potential exposure to extreme temperatures**This is designated as a Safety Sensitive position**

Education & Experience

High School education or GED preferred.Minimum three (3) months related experienceForklift experience desired, or willingness to learn forklift operationKnowledge of warehouse management systemsWhat We Offer
