Overview

Amyx is seeking to hire a Cybersecurity Project Manager to oversee a large, complex task order for the Defense Logistics Agency (DLA). The role involves supporting the Program Manager and working with government entities at locations including DLA Land and Maritime in Columbus, Ohio, Ft. Belvoir in Virginia, or HDIFC in Battle Creek, MI.

Responsibilities

The Cybersecurity Project Manager will be responsible for managing the overall execution of the task order, ensuring timely implementation of technical solutions and schedules. The role includes enterprise-wide horizontal integration planning and interfacing with other functional systems.

Additionally, the candidate should have an understanding of:

• 24x7x365 monitoring of SIEM and cybersecurity tools to detect and respond to threats
• Protecting, monitoring, analyzing, and responding to unauthorized activity
• Using cybersecurity capabilities and deliberate actions to address alerts and emerging threats
• Reviewing logs for attack indicators and monitoring for APTs and slow attacks
• Utilizing intelligence resources, including OSINT, to stay aware of threats
• Providing technical analysis and support for cybersecurity tools and applications
• Applying defense-in-depth signatures and perimeter controls to reduce network threats

Qualifications

Minimum Requirements:

• Leadership experience in projects of similar size and complexity (>$5 million over 5 years)
• Six years of general IT experience
• Six years of cybersecurity experience
• Risk Management Professional credential
• PMP or equivalent certification
• Strong knowledge of RMF
• Active DOD Secret Clearance, eligible for IT-II Non-Critical Sensitive clearance or Tier 3 (T3)
• For CERT Analyst duties, DOD Top Secret Clearance and eligibility for IT-I Critical Sensitive clearance or Tier 5 (T5)
• Baseline Certification for IAM III and a 'Computer Network Defense' CE Certification within six months
