Job Purpose
The ORMB Analyst will be part of the Corporate Systems team that manages ORMB. The analyst will support critical billing processes (via phone, screen share, email) for internal business users. A strong candidate must be a motivated team player eager to learn, work independently, and be willing to assist others.
This role requires identifying, troubleshooting, and assisting users in resolving business issues. A successful candidate will take initiative, have the ability to multitask, demonstrate strong problem-solving skills, and strong decision-making skills, all while displaying a high degree of customer service and professionalism. Candidate should be proficient with trouble shooting complex technical issues, be proficient in writing SQL, and have customer service or technology support experience.
Responsibilities
- Troubleshoot and resolve time sensitive billing issues (technical and data related), perform root cause analysis, and identify workarounds and permanent solutions
- Administer and maintain ORMB platform and make configuration changes
- Collaborate with several development teams for issue escalation
- Maintain and/or create documentation related to operating procedure
Knowledge and Experience
- 2 + yrs. experience in writing SQL script
- 3 + yrs. experience in IT area focusing on system troubleshooting and problem-solving complex business issues for accounting applications
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to multitask and work independently on multiple tasks
- Logical approach, critical thinking, and analytical problem-solving skills
- Ability to perform well under pressure
- Bachelor's degree in technical disciplines or equivalent combination of education and relevant work experience required
Preferred
- Knowledge of billing processes
- Functional experience in ORMB or other billing application that includes pricing, billing, revenue management, payments, and collections
- Exhibit a proactive and solution-driven mindset with a readiness to learn and adapt to new technologies to meet client needs
- Systems/Application administration experience
