The General Manager is responsible for leading a team of up to 25 employees and driving success in all aspects of the retail operation. You will continually deliver on Enmarket's mission to "Enrich Lives" through a focus on friendly service, food execution, cleanliness, building talent, and driving success. Responsibilities
Passionate about customer service and retail industry; coach, develop, empower, and hold team members accountable to deliver an exceptional customer experience while maintaining a profitable environment. Maintain high standards of store appearance and operations. Oversee daily retail activities, proactively assisting in various areas as needed. Recruit, interview, hire, and effectively train high-caliber candidates. Analyze sales, margins, inventory levels, cash flow, and purchase trends; use reports to maximize profitability. Ensure consistent execution of marketing plans at the store level. Maintain adequate inventory levels to support sales and minimize non-productive stock. Ensure safety, health, food safety, and sanitation standards are met according to regulations. Manage employee scheduling and payroll to maximize sales and meet labor targets. Complete daily and monthly reports and paperwork accurately and timely. Communicate effectively with all team levels and upper management. Conduct employee performance reviews. Complete competition surveys as requested. Support the company's mission, vision, and values. Enforce all company policies, rules, and procedures. Implement fuel pricing strategies, including surveys and price adjustments. Foster high employee morale and engagement through communication, recognition, and feedback. Build and maintain relationships with vendors. Manage store operations proactively to achieve company goals and understand P&L reports. Resolve employee issues promptly, seeking guidance when necessary. Embrace organizational change proactively. Work all shifts as needed. Requirements
High School Diploma or GED required. 2+ years management experience in food service, retail, or restaurant preferred. Experience in high-volume, guest-focused environments preferred. Excellent communication skills. Ability to work 50 hours weekly, including weekends and holidays. Physical ability to lift up to 40 pounds and perform related tasks. Additional Info
