Overview
Mount Indie is looking for a Command, Control, Communications, and Battle Management (C3BM) Principal Systems Engineer to engage in C3BM systems engineering efforts. C3BM systems engineering efforts include engaging in Command, Control, Battle Management, and Communications (C2BMC) technical engineering and integration, future concepts, new functionality, and multi- exchange designs.
What You'll Be Doing:
Provide interoperability engineering, analysis, and technical guidance for C2BMC, MDS Elements, and external capability integration and interface design efforts between MDA/BC, BC contractors, and MDS Elements.
Participate in C2BMC software engineering reviews and analyses for development of C2BMC Spiral products.
Participate in technical baseline efforts to develop specifications and interfaces for current and future C3BM spirals.
Support critical integration and interoperability product evaluations based on future product integration into MDA/BC spiral builds through interface, requirements, and C2BMC product definitions.
Participate in technical baseline efforts to develop specifications and interfaces for current and future C3BM spirals.
Participate in C2BM and BMDS OPIR Architecture (BOA) Agile review processes.
Participate in MDA ground test planning and objectives development.
Provide evolving C3BM architecture analysis and expertise in the area of OPIR capability.
Support M&S development involving C2BMC, sensors, and space assets.
Participate in evaluations of C3BM increments and initiatives; coordinate IV&V activities for all C2BMC and OPIR.
Provide expertise in threat modeling.
Provide interoperability engineering, analysis, and technical guidance for C2BMC, MDS Elements, and external capability.
Participate in technical baseline efforts to develop specifications and interfaces for current and future C3BM spirals.
Other duties as assigned
Required Qualifications:
Master's degree in STEM and 12+ years of relevant experience
Active Secret clearance
Experience with MDA/DoD systems engineering like cycle
Familiarity with Agile Software Development processes and product development timelines
Experience with Missile Defense Agency, Ballistic Missile Defense System, and/or C3BM Program Office work efforts or MDA sensors
Ability to work independently within a dynamic environment
Ability to apply network engineering and solutions to support real-world test, integration, and operations
Travel Requirements:1-2 weeks per year dependent on customer's requirements.
