Essential Functions:
- Maintain proper rotation of products.
- Maintain a clean and safe work area.
- Complete daily, weekly and monthly Master Sanitation items.
- Properly fill out paperwork dealing with pallet stacking, put away butter in cold box racks and stage product for truck and railcar load outs.
- Follow all Good Manufacturing Practices.
- Follow all Hazard Analysis Critical Control Point (HACCP) guidelines.
- Follow all safety and working rules.
- Get along with co-workers.
- Maintain a positive attitude and contribute towards a quality environment.
- Perform other duties as assigned by management.
Supervisory Responsibilities:
This position has no supervisory responsibilities.
Qualifications:

- Work in a safe and efficient manner and follow all safety procedures including the use of safety equipment.
- Ability to troubleshoot problems and be persistent until a solution is found.

Education and/or Experience:
- One to three months previous experience.
- High School level verbal and written communication skills.
- Basic computational skills required. Simple math reasoning required.
- Ability to operate the equipment effectively after the appropriate break-in period.
Language Skills:
Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out instructions given in written, oral, or diagram form. Ability to discern when issues may require input from levels of authority within the corporation.
Certificates, Licenses, Registrations:
Must possess or be able to acquire and maintain a forklift operator license.

Physical Demands:
The physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job. - Sitting/Standing/Walking: The operator stands throughout the shift and walks on uneven concrete and tile surfaces.
- Lifting/Carrying: The operator lifts up to 60 pounds frequently and 80 pounds occasionally. Two or more employees complete lifts of greater than 80 pounds.
- Pushing/Pulling: The operator pushes/pulls filled butter cases when restacking a pallet and uses brooms and dust mops during cleanup duties.
- Bending/Stooping: The operator bends/stoops occasionally throughout the workday.
- Twisting/Turning: Occasional slight twisting and turning at the waist when stacking butter cases.
- Climbing/Balancing: Steps on and off the forklift during the course of each workday.
- Reaching: The operator reaches below shoulder level when removing or adding cases to a pallet.
- Grasping/Manipulating: Frequent use of the hands and fingers is required.
Equipment:
The work environment characteristics described here are representative of those an employee encounters while performing the essential functions of this job. Employees will be subject to temperatures associated with an air-cooled room. Proper lifting techniques must be employed at all times.
An employee may come in contact with ammonia, acids, caustics, and chlorines. Personal protective equipment including, but not limited to, hearing protection, bum caps, hair and beard nets, gloves, and eye protection must be used in the performance of duties.
