Position Overview As Chief Executive Officer of dnata USA, based in Orlando, Florida, reporting directly to the Regional CEO, you will oversee dnata's US portfolio, including ground handling, logistics, and cargo operations. Your main goal is to deliver safe, secure, customer-focused services, implement strategic growth plans, and maximize profitability and performance of our international handling businesses, aiming to be the most admired in each market. You will lead strategic initiatives from conception to execution. Key Responsibilities Collaborate with the RCEO and Divisional SVP to optimize financial performance aligned with dnata’s airport operations strategy. Plan and oversee the integration of diverse functions over 2-3 years to ensure strategic alignment and achievement. Develop an effective regional structure to create operational synergies. Ensure workforce planning meets operational needs and the operating model is efficient. Develop and implement policies, procedures, and controls to meet legislative and procedural requirements; represent the business with authorities and clients; update the Board on key issues. Prepare and present annual budgets, including profit & loss, balance sheets, and cash flow; make decisions on contracts, investments, staffing, and budgeting in collaboration with the RCEO. Drive continuous improvement, industry best practices, and innovative solutions with regional leaders. Ensure compliance with security procedures and industry standards in ground and cargo handling. Make decisions within authority limits, after due diligence and risk assessment. Prioritize safety, implementing safety management systems and promoting a safety-first culture. Build and nurture long-term relationships with clients and stakeholders to grow business networks. Set clear objectives for teams aligned with dnata’s framework; partner with HR on talent and reward initiatives. Promote dnata’s Vision, Mission, and Values, modeling these behaviors in leadership practices. Develop and foster a positive, engaging company culture. Qualifications & Experience Candidates must have: Bachelor’s degree in a related field and 12+ years of airport operations experience, including at least 6 years in management, preferably with an international airline or ground handler. Knowledge of US laws and regulations. Experience with aviation insurance, workers’ compensation, healthcare, employment law, and D&O insurance. Deep understanding of airport handling operations and strong business acumen. Excellent M&A skills, budget management, and cost control expertise. Strong leadership, communication, and negotiation skills.
