Job Summary and Qualifications The Clinical Nurse Coordinator (CNC) provides high-quality, patient-centered care and oversees unit functions during the shift. Collaborating with management, the CNC monitors, evaluates, and models organizational values to ensure excellent patient outcomes and departmental performance. What You Will Do In This Role Assist with admission and discharge processes for efficient patient flow. Assess and improve the quality of patient care in collaboration with management. Create a teamwork environment supporting better outcomes and service. Support a patient-first approach and engage in service recovery when needed. Implement strategies like employee rounding and hourly rounds to enhance engagement. Participate in staff hiring, training, performance evaluations, and conflict resolution. Manage staff scheduling and ensure proper inventory control. What Qualifications You Will Need This is a Mid-Shift work Schedule. Graduate of an accredited nursing school; Bachelor’s Degree preferred. Valid CA nursing license. BLS, ACLS, PALS certifications required. NIH Stroke Scale certification required. Non-Violent Crisis Intervention certification within 6 months of hire. Minimum 2 years of Clinical Emergency Department experience. Leadership or management experience preferred.
