As a Senior Estimator, you will be an integral part of our pre-construction team, responsible for accurately estimating the costs of heavy civil construction projects. You will work on a variety of challenging and impactful projects, collaborating with cross-functional teams to ensure the successful delivery of complex infrastructure initiatives. The sectors you’ll be working in will range in different industries such as highways, railway, aviation, and energy. The projects can range in value from $1M – $1B, there’s a brilliant variety and scope of work.
Responsibilities
Estimation:
Lead the preparation of comprehensive and accurate cost estimates for heavy civil construction projects, considering materials, labor, equipment, and other relevant factors. Bid Proposals:
Develop detailed and competitive bid proposals, ensuring alignment with project requirements, client expectations, and company standards. Cost Tracking:
Collaborate with the finance team to track and analyze project costs, ensuring alignment with estimated budgets. Requirements
You must have experience working on transportation construction projects, this could be on highway construction, aviation, or railway construction. I am looking for someone who has a Bachelor of Science, ideally in construction (not essential), and has 10+ years’ experience working in these sectors. It is preferred you have experience working as a Senior Estimator, but my client is also open to looking at someone who is a Project Manager and has Pre-Construction experience. Rewards and Benefits
