The goal of cybersecurity architecture is to protect an organization's information technology (IT) network. Components of cybersecurity architecture include: Firewalls Intrusion detection and prevention systems (IDPS) Antivirus and antimalware software Virtual private networks (VPNs) Access controls Encryption Security information and event management (SIEM) Security policies and procedures Endpoint security Network segmentation Cybersecurity architecture best practices include: Performing regular security audits Ensuring compliance with standards and frameworks Maintaining business continuity Protecting critical assets Preserving stakeholder trust Integrating emerging technologies Providing employee training and awareness Conducting risk assessments Developing robust incident response plans Cybersecurity architects design, develop, and implement the security systems that protect an organization's IT network.
