MACHINIST, NIGHT SHIFT
Job Summary:Diamondback Industries has an exciting opportunity for a Night Shift Machinist to join our team! We are looking for a dynamic individual with a keen eye for detail and a solid understanding of CNC machines to help us create our proprietary engineered components. While experience is preferred, we welcome applicants with a desire to learn and grow with our company.
Job Functions:
- Operate Doosan CNC machines with FANUC controls to manufacture components according to specifications and industry standards.
- Work in a climate-controlled, clean manufacturing environment with a safety and ergonomic mindset.
- Use industry-standard measurement tools, gages, and specs to ensure internal quality standards of 99.6%.
- Troubleshoot and perform basic maintenance on machines as needed to ensure efficient operation.
- Manage tool offsets, machine load, and tool life management to maximize efficiency and meet cost goals.
- Work collaboratively with engineering and production teams to optimize manufacturing processes and minimize waste.
- Utilize cell-based software to monitor and optimize manufacturing processes for maximum efficiency and quality.
- Operate and maintain equipment in a safe and effective manner to minimize downtime.
- Participate in continuous improvement initiatives to improve quality, efficiency, and customer satisfaction.
Job Qualifications:
- Minimum 1-3 years of experience in CNC machining.
- Mechanical aptitude and experience troubleshooting problems.
- Willingness to work night shift Monday to Thursday, 4:20 p.m. to 3:20 a.m.
- Ability to safely perform related physical demands of the role: lift up to 70 pounds as needed.
- Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and specifications.
- Knowledge of safety protocols and guidelines in a manufacturing environment.
Compensation up to $30.00 per hour depends on experience and years of service.
Standard background check and drug testing is required.
Medical insurance is 70% less cost to employee based off national average.
