OVERALL RESPONSIBILITY
The Director, Brands & Ventures is a sales-focused role which will help drive the strategic, revenue-based partnerships across the HYBE America ecosystem, with a primary focus on Quality Control clients, leveraging the most diverse and powerful portfolio of musicians and entertainment brands in the industry.
CORE RESPONSIBILITY
• Pitch, negotiate, secure and activate revenue-generating brand partnership deals for clients, with a focus on the Quality Control roster.
• Possess an in-depth understanding of the Quality Control roster, including artists’ brands, audiences, and creative identities, to identify and pitch partnerships that align authentically with their unique profiles.
• Project manage entire deal lifecycle, from deal sheet process through execution and recap/reporting.
• Coordinate and collaborate cross-functionally with day-to-day managers, digital teams, sync licensing, PR teams, business managers, legal teams, and other stakeholders.
• Critically vet and analyze potential partnership opportunities to ensure alignment with the company’s clients and strategic objectives.
• Build and maintain high-level brand relationships across all viable industries and categories.
• Lead the creation of essential sales assets inclusive of original decks, presentations and client one sheets.
• Deliver defined ROI, key learnings, reporting, and evaluations of partnership impact to internal and external stakeholders.
• Identify and pursue emerging categories for first-mover deal opportunities.
• Research industry trends and stay updated on corporate sponsorships and partnerships to inform strategic decisions.
• Contribute to financial reporting and maintenance for Brands & Ventures team.
QUALIFICATIONS (skills, attributes, or credentials a person needs to perform the tasks listed above)
• Minimum of 7+ years of experience in business development, sales, and creative dealmaking within the music/entertainment industry, with a proven track record of securing brand financial commitments.
• Strong relationships with brands, sponsorship agencies, and activation teams, supported by expertise in conceptualizing and executing creative partnerships.
• Skilled negotiator with strong analytical and critical thinking skills, able to research emerging markets and identify trends effectively.
• Organized, detail-oriented, and solutions-driven, with the ability to excel both independently and collaboratively in dynamic, fast-paced environments.
• Exceptional project management, relationship-building, and communication skills, including the ability to craft impactful, visually compelling presentations in Keynote.
• Highly proficient in MS Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint) and macOS (Keynote).
• Experienced in working with Adobe Acrobat and skilled in producing clear, concise, and professional written communications.
Salary: $80,000-$100,000
