The Director of Sales– Target will be responsible for over $150 Million in total channel sales, including Target stores and Target.com. The Director will be responsible for strategic planning, promotional development, supply chain excellence, team development, omni-channel leadership, joint business planning, and internal collaboration with marketing, finance, and supply chain organizations. Responsibilities
Develop and implement strategic account plans to achieve sales and profitability targets. Includes the development and execution of promotional programs that drive volume and market share growth at Target. Lead omni-channel initiatives to drive business results and enhance customer experience. Create leading edge approach to omni channel maximization integrating both store and online volume. Focus on utilizing available data streams (Circana/Nielsen) to drive strategic investment and maximize return. Collaborate with internal stakeholders to ensure seamless supply chain management and customer satisfaction. Drive OTIF focus and continuous improvement throughout the organization. Lead forecast collaboration internally and externally to ensure appropriate in stocks and event support. Build and maintain strong relationships with key decision-makers throughout the Target organization. Partner with cross-functional teams to ensure successful joint business planning and execution. Develop point to point connections to enable collaboration for both organizations to deliver on Joint Business planning goals. Develop and mentor a high-performing team to drive growth and exceed customer expectations. Qualifications
Required Experience / Education Bachelor's degree in business or related field. 10+ years of experience in major account management, preferably in the consumer goods industry and Target specifically. Omni Channel leadership experience. Integration of digital strategy with in store objectives to drive maximum growth and optimization of channels. Proven success in strategic planning, promotional development, supply chain management, and Joint Business Planning. Strong communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to influence and negotiate effectively. Demonstrated ability to analyze complex data and develop actionable insights. Experience leading cross-functional teams and collaborating with internal stakeholders. Strong project management skills and ability to prioritize and execute multiple initiatives. Target Specific Experience Strong experience with Roundel media team. Target specific JBP tools.
