EMPLOYMENT QUALIFICATIONS:
Education:
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
- Must be 18 years of age.
- Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions and procedure manuals.
- Ability to write routine reports and correspondence.
- Ability to understand and implement district safety policies and requirements including those related to chemical hazards, bloodborne pathogens and hazardous energy sources.
- Ability to perform a variety of general maintenance functions and to keep maintenance and inventory records.
- Ability to work independently without direct supervision.
- Ability to work with direct supervision for teaching purposes.
- Assists with set up and removal of audio/visual equipment for the purpose of providing assistance and ensuring operational performance of resources.
- Cleans assigned facilities for the purpose of maintaining a sanitary, safe and attractive environment.
- Delivers a variety of items for the purpose of distributing materials to the appropriate parties within the site location.
- Maintains facility cleanliness for the purpose of providing a clean, sanitary environment conducive to learning.
- Maintains supplies and equipment for the purpose of ensuring the availability of custodial items required to properly maintain facilities.
- Participates in meetings, as assigned, for the purpose of conveying and/or gathering information required to perform job functions.
- Prepares facility for additional activities for the purpose of ensuring that the site is suitable for safe operations, maintained in an attractive and clean condition, providing proper functioning and usability of items and facility.
- Prepares facility for daily operations as may be required for the purpose of ensuring facilities are operational and hazard-free.
- Responds to immediate safety and/or operational concerns for the purpose of taking appropriate action notifying appropriate personnel for resolution.
- Secures facilities and grounds for the purpose of minimizing property damage, equipment loss and potential liability.
- Other duties as assigned.
- While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to sit; use hands.
- The employee is occasionally required to stand; walk and reach with hands and arms.
- The employee must regularly lift and/or move up to 75 pounds.
- Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception and ability to adjust focus.
