Job Title: Emergency Room Nurse
Job Specialty: Emergency Room Nursing
Job Duration: 13 weeks
Shift: Night Shift 1900-0730
Guaranteed Hours: 36 hours
Experience: Minimum of 2 years
License: Current RN license with Nursing degree from an accredited school
Certifications: ACLS, PALS, and BLS certifications required
Must-Have:
- Operating knowledge of Electronic Medical Records preferred
- Experience as a staff nurse with management responsibilities
- Emergency Room experience preferred
- Good oral and written communication skills
- Ability to effectively communicate in English, both verbal and written
- Excellent interpersonal skills
- Basic computer skills
Job Description:
- Promote and maintain quality patient care through effective management of total patient care services during the shift.
- Serve as the House Supervisor with the authority and responsibility for administrative decisions in the absence of leadership.
- Sustain and evaluate competence in the care of the age and type of patient population served.
- Demonstrate interpersonal relationships in a manner that enhances communication, promotes conflict resolution, and facilitates staff development.
- Interface professionally, tactfully, and respectfully with patients, residents, family members, staff, the general public, and agency representatives.
